I mention that first income report because it’s important to understand that monetizing a blog takes a lot of hard work, dedication, time, and luck. I focus on two things (1) the income and expenses and (2) the traffic. I also include any tips or tricks that we’re learning as we continue to find ways to grow the blog. Back in the summer of 2011 Lindsay and I were chatting about her food blog (the one you’re reading!) and what the future held for it.
